KLM
ROYAL DUTCH AIRLINES

Country: Netherlands
IATA code : KL

I am assured that the first bag is from KLM although there is no evidence other than it has Dutch as the first language. The colours don't indicate any a corporate identity.

The second bag is another classic that is well known in the annals of nausaccology and features 'Dusty' the kangaroo. Quite what that has to do with airsickness is something known only to the cloggies. However, now we are starting to see some corporate identity in the shades of blue.

Although predominantly white, bag number three has been well and truly badged with a large logo in the corporate colours. There is a similar with a darker shade of blue in the logo and having slightly different construction features.

Making its debut in the mid 1990's, is the all blue bag.

However, the logo was soon droppedthis state of affairs persisted through some changes in manufacturer, until 1999 when the environmental statement makes its appearance on the base.

For afficianados of comparative lingusitics note the change from the early "Prullezakje" to "Prullenzakje".

The "je" suffix in Dutch signifies the diminutive and is used with gay abandon throughout the language. So when ordering a drink one asks for a large little beer.
